Our Team

Jan Mitchell is the founder and CEO of The InnovativePR Company. Jan has always loved dealing with the public and building relationships with others. As the System Patient Access Center (S-PAC), Jan has always loved networking and building relationships with others. In her healthcare career as an Operations Performance Expert, Jan has quickly climbed the career ladder. She has been featured in the healthcare organization’s newsletter for her work in creating memorable patient experiences. Jan has been privileged to work alongside senior management to innovate new processes for patients and employees, bridging gaps in patient care. A few such collaborations led to the development and implementation of Jan’s customer service training curriculum which she facilitates. Working alongside her clinicians and peers, she also helped institute the cardiology nurse navigator position for the revenue cycle department. 

 

As The InnovativePR Company,  LLC, now offers website content and manuscript editing, I decided to expand my knowledge and credibility in this field. I am soon to complete my certification in editing in a few weeks. I am also currently finishing my bachelor's in communications.

 

In the meantime,  I am excited to announce that I am now an active member of two editing & publishing associations and would like to add their names & logo to the InnovativePR Co website (permissions granted to use logos as part of the membership).  I am also listed in the ACES directory under "Editors For Hire". I will soon have a connecting website link with NAIWE  (still being developed).

• Penned a few articles for the NAHAM Access Management Journal

• Co-Host of "Well, Hades‼️", a Christian-based internet talk show

• Author of "Suddenly Single: Navigating Grief While Colliding With Purpose " & " Suddenly Single: Surviving the Demise of Your Relationship "

• Certified Mental Health First Aider

Jan is also Mom to three (3 )beautiful daughters and grandmother to one (1) granddaughter.
